Jason Nichols

Executive Director

Jason Nichols holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Northeastern State University , Tahlequah, Oklahoma , and has extensive experience in Indian gaming regulatory and policy issues.

He began his gaming career as a Mega Bingo sales clerk at Creek Nation Tulsa Bingo in 1996 while he was attending college. Two years later he joined an electronic gaming vendor, working in training and customer care. He was appointed to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Gaming Operations Authority Board in 2002 and, from March 2005 to July 2006 , he served as Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Public Gaming for the Nation. In 2006, Nichols was appointed Acting Gaming Commissioner and in January 2008, he was appointed Gaming Commissioner. In 2012, he served as Deputy Director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association (AIGA) in Phoenix, AZ.

In October 2012, Nichols was appointed by the Viejas Tribal Council as their Gaming Commissioner, where he worked to protect the integrity of all gaming and gaming related activities at Viejas Casino in Alpine, CA. Nichols received the Warrior's Award in 2010 (for Lifetime Achievement as a champion in the cause of Oklahoma Indian Gaming). Nichols is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He is married to his wife, Alison, and they have two children, Cassidy and Carson.

Louis Arroyo

Investigations Manager

As Investigations Department Manager Louis Arroyo leads the Department with a philosophy grounded in integrity, ethics, and efficiency. Having responsibility for conducting background investigations of all occupational and vendor license applicants and conducting investigations on incidents that occur on gaming enterprise property, the Licensing Division and the Investigative Service Division teams focus on reducing risk and liability to the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe. Louis has been employed since 1999 and continues to support the values and ideals of the Potawatomi Gaming Commission.

Louis was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Investigations and his Master’s Degree in Justice Administration and Crime Management from Bellevue University. Louis also holds certifications in interview and interrogation. Louis’ passion is teaching self-defense. He is a certified firearms instructor and is a 4th degree Black-Belt in Jujutsu and owns his own dojo (martial arts school). Louis is active in his community and volunteers as an Auxiliary Police Officer.

Joshua Hammersley

Surveillance Manager

As the Surveillance Department Manager, Joshua Hammersley oversees both divisions of the Surveillance Department for the Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission. The Surveillance Department has two divisions, the Observation Division and the Technical Division. The Observation Division is responsible for observing gaming activities, protecting Tribal assets, ensuring gaming regulations are being upheld and for both patron and employee safety. The Technical Division is responsible for maintaining the surveillance system, door access and all technical services provide and maintained by the Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission.

Joshua Hammersley has been employed with the Forest County Gaming Commission since 2004 and started as a Third Shift Operator. Nine months later Josh was promoted to acting supervisor and in 2009 was promoted to the Third Shift Supervisor. In 2013, Joshua was promoted to Assistant Director and then Department Manager shortly after. Joshua has a Gaming Management degree from Extended Studies Program at Reno University.

Joshua enjoys playing golf and watching football. Joshua also loves spending time with his lovely family; wife, 1 year old son Jacob and the new member arriving April 2016.

James Schreiber

Project Manager

James Schreiber has fourteen years’ experience in gaming and gaming regulation. He also has twenty-five years’ management experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and mechanical engineering.

He is responsible to the Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission for managing the Regulatory Compliance department, involving audit and compliance duties over the casinos. Mr. Schreiber has expertise in compliance, audit, class II and III gaming, and Internet gaming.

He also has significant experience drafting Tribal MICS and other control documents. Mr. Schreiber is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and holds a certificate as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP). His related educational experience includes certification in Gaming Management from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Jason Corbin

Human Resources Manager

Hailing from a small south central Wisconsin town famous for its cheese making, Jason Corbin serves the Gaming Commission as Human Resources Manager. Jason has been employed by the Commission since 2004, where he started as a Compliance Officer.

Jason has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carroll University (Spanish and Philosophy), and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix (Organizational Management); he holds a Business Management Graduate Certificate from Marquette University and a Gaming Management Certificate from the University of Nevada – Reno. He has achieved professional designations as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

Jason is a member in good standing with the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, and the Society for Human Resource Management. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with family, appreciating his extensive music collection and tinkering with technology.

Christina Vallejo

Regulatory Compliance Manager

Christina Vallejo (Tina) holds a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from the University of Phoenix and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Tina also has her Gaming Management Certification from the University of Nevada – Reno. She is a member in good standing with the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and obtained the designation of Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP).

Tina’s entire gaming career has been with the Potawatomi Community. She started her career working in the Bingo hall in the retail store at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee. She moved from the retail store to the Accounting Department after 6 months. In the Accounting Department she got acquainted with all aspects of gaming. After 7 years in the Accounting Department she ‘moved into the light’ and into regulation in the Internal Audit Department. When the Internal Audit Department and the Compliance Departments merged, she became the Assistant Regulatory Compliance Manager. Within a short time, she was promoted to the Regulatory Compliance Manager. The Regulatory Compliance divisions, Audit and Compliance, complement each other. They each have their own part to play in effective and efficient regulation.

In her free time Tina enjoys all things family. She has 4 grown children and 11 grandchildren (9 of them boys) – and let’s not forget her biggest boy – her husband – together for over 30 years. Because summers are short in Wisconsin, it is packed with family activities from weekends at their trailer in central Wisconsin to Great America outings to relaxing cook-outs. She is a firm believer in treating others as you would want to be treated and creating an accepting and open atmosphere.
